We’re really looking forward to the coming of age plot of Overlord II, as revealed in the trailer above; also: a tyranny system which lets you choose between destruction and domination.

Siberian artist Vitaly Samarin’s work is a fantastic blend of digital and traditional pieces; he specializes in sci-fi and fantasy themes with a leaning towards post apocalyptic scenes.

Most kids of the 80s no doubt remember The Neverending Story; Enclothe has created a fantastic homage to the movie with a cool (but creepy) Southern Oracle t-shirt.

More Lord of the Rings: Conquest goodness for all you Gondor wannabees: while the graphics may not be jaw-dropping there’s nothing quite like watching Gandalf rush a Balrog head-on.

We could deal without the continuous operatic wail in the background, but this trailer for Japanese action RPG Demon’s Souls is an absolute eyeful for medieval fantasy fans.

We’re skeptical about God of War 3’s “Everything must come to an end” tagline (profit equals endless sequels), but Kratos packin’ a pair of armored wolf gloves is pure awesome.

Before Azeroth and Middle Earth was Camelot; King Arthur aims to give this legendary medieval fantasy its dues, with an RTS that reminds us of Total War in terms of its epic scope.

Classic-Castle.com’s Colossal Castle Contest VI is under way; Siege of Ung’Thol is easily the front runner, with orcs, trolls and catapults having us wax nostalgic for Lord of the Rings.

Elven Legacy looked like yet another (albeit good-looking) fantasy game, at least until we saw hexes: we’re big turn-based gamers, so we’re eagerly awaiting its Q1 ’09 release.

After scoring a whopping 38/40 at Famitsu, we’re even more intrigued by this Awaken trailer for Last Remnant; it’s due out on November 20th for the Xbox 360 in North America.

This Kingdom Under Fire II trailer looks like an epic Lord of the Rings battle; the fact that it’s a massively multiplayer RTS has us chomping at the bit for more. It’ll drop sometime in 2009.

While we’re still smarting over the film’s eight month delay, this new full-length 1:30 trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has us giddy like a bunch of first-year Hogwarts students.

Sanskrit epics and techno-fantasy blend awesomely in this teaser for MBX; it was conceived by acclaimed comic artist Grant Morrison under Liquid Comics (formerly Virgin Comics).

Although it’s not scheduled for release stateside, this Dragon Quest IX trailer really wowed us with the DS’ graphic abilities; the game features co-op multiplayer and turn-based combat.

Available in a few days, Stephen King’s Dark Tower: Long Road Home gets a hardcover edition that spans issues #1-#5; this creepy comic series is great for alternate reality fans.

Simon Dominic Brewer’s art is a gorgeous mix of sci-fi and fantasy with a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor throw in. He’s created an impressive portfolio given his four years of experience.

Granted we’re grown-up and all, but we’re giddy for Lego’s Castle Troll Assault Wagon. A goofy mix of LOTR and Warhammer, it even comes with two hapless knights.

While Warner Bros’ much-anticipated movie is stuck in legal limbo due to a lawsuit, tide yourself over with this special hardcover edition of Watchmen, available 11/11.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning has one heckuva cinematic trailer out. The quality is reminiscent of scenes from the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which is never a bad thing.

Defend your castle (or 1 bedroom apartment) with Exotath, Sword of the Dark Elf. It’s a false-edged sword, but at 45″ with a stylized skull motif, its lethal looks alone will send evil a-packin’.

It’s tough not to like Christian Lorenz’s sci-fi and fantasy-themed art. The scenes are imaginative, colorful, and often thought provoking. Gallery Nucleus carries several of his prints.
