Awesome Evil Dead

Mondo’s 2XLP of The Evil Dead‘s soundtrack is no mere release. Composer Joe LoDuca re-recorded and “expanded” his original score for Sam Raimi’s 1981 horror hit. The release also features stunning cover art by Graham Humphreys and truly demonic-colored vinyls.

(Gore) The Deadite have returned. Good thing Ash never went away. Bruce Campbell reprises his role as the reckless Ash Williams in the official sequel to Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead trilogy. The TV series starts 10/31/15 on Starz.

Fans of the classic Evil Dead horror series will immediately fall in love with Daniel Kanemoto’s animated tribute which ironically has much higher production values than Sam Raimi’s original films.

Sam Raimi’s gore-fest finally makes its way to Blu-ray today (8/31/10). If you’ve never seen Bruce Cambpell in his original turn as Ash, you must watch this low-budget horror classic.
