Awesome Ducks

More of a semi-randomly generated video than a game, this relaxing indie hit sees different kinds of rubber ducks gradually converging at a seaside swimming pool. That’s it. Available for PC, Switch, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S.

As we’ve seen before, inventor Nicolas Bras loves to make unique musical instruments. His latest instrument is one of the sillier ones we’ve seen. He created an improvised bagpipe by attaching his PVC pipe clarinets and a kid-sized duck pool float. It doesn’t sound much like the traditional Scottish instrument, nor does it quack like a duck.

If you’re perpetually running late, why bother with a watch that tells the time? This fun wristwatch from Wumbo Ventures has no hands or digits, just a tiny pool filled with rubber duckies and a splashy bubble. They have magnetic backsides so that you can rearrange them in the water. There’s also a Devil Duck version.

Today we learned that ducks like peas. Watch as Pepé and Arnold, a friendly duo of water birds, attack a bowl of the green veggies like it was their last meal ever before being served up a l’Orange. Also, ducks have some really foul fowl mouths.

(PG-13 Language) It seems as if ducks are the new cats on the internet. The latest clip to go viral is this hilarious Vine in which both the waterfowl and the exclamation work together in perfect harmony.

While there were many doubters that the screams of The Duck Army were in some way faked, Mythbusters’ Adam Savage did what he does best, and proved that the horrifying wails are real. And they’re spectactular.

Jack Saranthat was driving through central Thailand when he came across a massive flock (or is it a badelynge) of ducks crossing the road in front of him. Honestly, it’s like one of those scenes with the zombies in World War Z.

A few days ago, a flock of about 50 ducks wandered into a CVS store in Saratoga Springs, NY. We can only imagine they stopped in to pick up some popcorn and a kiddie pool. Also: Swiffers don’t work on feathers.

Dear ducks… if you must cross the road, we suggest doing it on a quiet country byway, and not in the middle of an active IndyCar practice round. Thanks mostly to the skill of the drivers, momma and babies came out unscathed.
