Awesome Dlc

Namco’s classic ’80s arcade game Pac-Man has made its way into the blocky world of Minecraft. The DLC includes 10 different mazes and the ability to build your own, along with gameplay that roughly approximates the original dot-gobbling action, just in 3D. Available now from the Minecraft Marketplace.

After months of waiting, here’s a look at the first DLC for BioShock Infinite. The video shown here is from “Burial at Sea,” which sends us back to Rapture, while “Clash in the Clouds” offers 60 frenetic challenges on four new maps.

An impressively diverse DLC pack offers new maps ranging from a town overflowed by a volcano, to a concert arena, to a skyscraper, to a Hollywood backlot. Plus, Mob of the Dead faces pits mobsters against zombies in Alcatraz.

All five Assassin’s Creed games in one pricey set. It also includes a book, lithographs and all DLC for the games, plus a season pass for all future DLC of Assassin’s Creed 3. Only for EMEA territories.

The sidekicks take center stage in Harley Quinn’s Revenge, an upcoming DLC package for Batman: Arkham City. It drops on 05/29, but it’s also bundled with the GOTY edition of Arkham City.

The official DLC for LittleBigPlanet 2 includes two costume packs – Sackboy as Statler or Waldorf! – and a level kit with Muppet-themed levels plus a new material called Attract-O-Gel.

This Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood DLC centers on a quest to find Da Vinci and his paintings after he’s kidnapped. The multiplayer add-on includes 1 map, 4 characters, and 2 game modes. Out March 8th.

See the Four Horses of the Apocalypse, Bigfoot and the hordes of zombies in Undead Nightmare, the DLC/spinoff of Red Dead Redemption. Available on PSN/Xbox Live or as a separate disc.

The latest DLC for Red Dead Redemption brings zombies to the Old West. Undead Nightmare will also bring new mechanics, animals, weapons, outfits and a secret location. Undead horse ftw!

Mass Effect 1’s Mako was short for “makin’ me mad,” but we’re actually looking forward to the Hammerhead: the hovertank will be a free Mass Effect 2 DLC and will include new missions.

He’s a dead ringer for Avatar’s Quaritch, but General Knoxx knocks us dead with Borderlands’ third DLC; it bumps the level cap to 61 and adds new weapons, enemies, and vehicles.

The Prancing Horse ain’t horsin’ around: Ferrari Racing Series DLC arrives on Need for Speed SHIFT 2/18/10 for the Xbox 360 only with 10 supercars including the F430 GTC and F50 GT.

Not to be outdone by GoW’s Lost Planet 2 cameo, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and inFAMOUS all invade Uncharted 2 with the Heroes Skin Pack, now available on the PlayStation Store.

Assassin’s Creed 2’s first DLC literally takes flight with the Battle of Forli ($4); it takes us into Sequence 12 with more joy rides aboard Leonardo’s fantastically infernal flying machine.

Ah, Mass Effect 2, you manage to squeeze in one more trailer for 1/27 or 1/28, but at least it’s a badass one: bounty hunter and merc Zaeed Massani is a free, zero-day DLC.

Rico sweetens the pot with a free DLC for those who preorder Just Cause 2; it includes a Chaos parachute, Chevalier Classic car, assault rifle, Rico’s signature gun, and hovercraft.

Due out next week on Xbox 360, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot is a Mad Max-inspired Borderlands DLC; you’ll fight waves of enemies in one of three arenas in either single player or co-op.

EVE’s 12th free expansion, Dominion, gets an epic, nationalistic trailer; out 12/1/09, it provides more tactical gameplay, new doomsday devices, and improved territory control.

Available 11/27/09: The Fort is Uncharted 2’s first DLC and totally free; based on The Fortress chapter in Drake’s Fortune, this multiplayer map oozes awesome in the trailer above.

Available this week: Abbey Road is a must-download DLC for The Beatles: Rock Band fans, with five tracks for $17 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and six tracks a-la-carte on the Wii.

Available 9/17, Red Faction: Guerilla’s Multiplayer Pack is the game’s second DLC; the trailer above gives a preview on several of the eight new maps plus the new Bagman modes.

Available 8/3 on Xbox and PC, Fallout 3’s Mothership Zeta promises to be the mother of all DLCs; you’ll use alien atomizers, wear spacesuits and fight battles in outer space.
