Awesome Dead Island

(Gore) Dead Island didn’t live up to the hype it generated, but it did lead to Axis Animation’s awesome CGI trailer. Cinedrone Pictures pays homage to that gripping short with this live action shot-for-shot remake.

A Dead Island playthrough in real life, featuring a less than ideal character who manages to get by thanks to the world’s strongest hanger. Humor and gaming tropes abound.

Dead Island looks like such a peaceful place – until its overrun with a zombie hoard, trapping tourists on what is clearly the worst vacation of their lives. Do zombies sunburn when you set them on fire?

From the man that brought us the literal Halo Reach trailer (and tons more) comes the literal Dead Island trailer. It’s actually mostly side comments instead of narration, but it’s still funny.

An epic mashup by British rapper Dan Bull, who combined the dramatic music from the Dead Island trailer with the climactic Winchester scene in Shaun of the Dead – played in reverse of course.

YouTube user Janprotokovski edited the Dead Island teaser to show the events in chronological order. There are actually several of these floating around the net, but this is one of the better edits.
