Have you ever had the urge to touch a fire, just to see how it would feel? How about slapping the heck out of a noisy commuter? Film student Anna Mantzaris gives life to those and more sociopathic urges in this darkly comic animated short. Bill Burr would love this.

Described by critics as “Shaun of the Dead meets La La Land“, Anna and the Apocalypse is based on Zombie Musical, a short film by Ryan McHenry. It’s about a group of high schoolers slashing and singing their way through a zombie apocalypse. Premieres 12/2018.

Set in the Wild West, The Sisters Brothers is a comedy about two sibling hired guns hunting a chemist who stole from their boss. Things turn ugly when their contact sees an opportunity for himself. Starring Joaquin Phoenix, John C. Reilly and Jake Gyllenhaal.

An ex-convict has trouble burst into his life once again, thanks to his reckless friend and an even more reckless policeman. Hamilton star and clipping. vocalist Daveed Diggs stars in this dark comedy about race relations in today’s America. Drops 7/20/18.

(PG-13) “Do more punk to me.” An adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s eponymous science fiction short story. Set in 1977 London, How to Talk to Girls at Parties sees a shy punk fan meet a fellow rebellious teenager, who just happens to be an alien. Premieres 5/28/18.

The official description for Eric Vega’s hilariously warped comedic short does the perfect job summing up what you’re about to watch, so we figured we’d just publish it as-is: “A pizza delivery man is asked to go above and beyond for a pushy customer.”

(PG-13: Language) Seth Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity is an upcoming Netflix special that combines music, sketches and stand up comedy to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. It stars John Mulaney, Post Malone, Tiffany Haddish and more. Premieres 4/6/18.

In The House with a Clock In Its Walls, a kid moves in with his uncle, who turns out to be part of a town of witches and warlocks. They end up trying to stop a demonic clock hidden inside a house. Eli Roth directs this adaptation of a classic children’s book. Premieres 9/21/18.

When a woman he meets disappears in the middle of the night, a jaded 33-year-old turns into a conspiracy theorist. He finds himself going down the rabbit hole that is Los Angeles. Andrew Garfield stars in this intriguing mystery comedy. Premieres 6/22/18.

(PG-13: Language) A struggling black man becomes a successful telemarketer by following the advice of the company veteran: use a white voice. Reviews say rapper Boots Riley’s surreal satire gets out of hand at times, but it’s worth seeing nonetheless.

“I don’t know if love is real… but I know the sounds I make of people finding love are very real.” Meet Tim. He’s the foley artist responsible for the squishy lovemaking sound effects on The Bachelor. At least that’s what Comedy Central wants us to believe.

“It’s either summoning a cake… or charging a death beam.” Funnymaker TomSka presents a hilarious sketch about a man who discovers a spoon that possesses mysterious powers and shows it off to his friend – with some interesting results.

(PG-13, Gore/Language) Elvis and Dimmi are not your typical adventurers. Or maybe they are, depending on how you play video games. Ivan Dixon and pixel art master Paul Robertson present this gaming-inspired short film about two jerks and their goblin lackey.

(PG-13: Language) John Cena and Leslie Mann play neighbors who find out that their respective daughters plan to lose their virginity on prom night. They’re willing to do anything to stop that from happening. We dare you to watch this with your family.

(PG-13) Based on Charles Forsman’s graphic novel, The End of the F**king World is a comedy series about a young sociopath who pretends to like a girl so he can kill her. Turns out she’s as crazy as he is. But maybe two wrongs can make a right.

(PG-13: Language) “My parents did just well enough so that I could grow up poor around white people.” Dave Chappelle’s last two Netflix specials – at least in the foreseeable future – are streaming now. Equanimity is arguably one of his best specials.

“They brought you into this world. Now they’ll take you out.” The world turns to chaos for 24 hours because of a global mass hysteria where parents start murdering their own children. Nicolas Cage stars in the Home Alone for millennials.
