Awesome Clouds

Made in Japan by Tsubota Pearl, this dreamy lighter features a hand-lacquered polycarbonate case that looks like wispy white clouds set against a beautiful blue sky. The steel lighter has a cotton wick and takes Zippo-style lighter fluid. We also dig their transparent color series.

Photographer Sylvia Michel captured this awe-inspiring footage walking through the clouds on a cliff-side bridge in Grindewald, Switzerland. The First Cliff Walk allows visitors to walk through some of the world’s most breathtaking vistas and includes this bridge to nowhere that hangs over the valley below. Here it is on a less cloudy day.

Photographer Lars Leber captured this breathtaking footage captured from a vantage point above the clouds near Colorado Springs. By speeding up their movements using via time-lapse, the puffy white clouds look like the undulating waves of a surreal sky ocean.

We won’t let the irritating audio take away from Mitchell F. Chan’s Something Something National Conversation (In 2 Characters or Less), which features one of the most satisfying elements we’ve seen in an art installation – two puffy white clouds colliding endlessly in mid-air.

You could hide all your spare rolls of toilet paper under the cabinet, or you could turn them into a work of cheeky wall art, courtesy of designer Bertrand Jayr’s concrete shelf, which transforms your TP into a fluffy white cloud. Even better with sky blue walls.

Wouldn’t it be nice to just drift with the clouds? Tiago Barros proposes just that with this more laid-back approach to travel that involves wayfaring onboard a huge cloud-shaped balloon.
