Camping in cold weather just got warmer with Super Pacific’s cozy Therma Puff Insulation Kit for its X1 rooftop camper. It’s like a puffy coat built to line the tent for four-season adventures. The kit includes insulated panels for the headwall, side walls, and ceiling (with mounting hardware), plus a storage bag. Made in the USA.

Maker Xyla Foxlin always wanted one of those little teardrop campers to take on her adventures. But the steadfast and hard-working Xyla wanted to build her own instead of buying one. It took her and her friends about three weeks to fabricate it from marine plywood, fiberglass, and aluminum, and the finished trailer looks fantastic.

Funwhole’s building block sets give LEGO a run for its money with more precise parts and lighting. This 1741-piece camper van kit features a fully-furnished interior, working doors, LED headlights, and details like a roof rack, solar panels, and a canvas shade for its outdoor seating area. The finished model measures 14.9″ L x 8.4″ H x 8.6″ W.

Most campers sit on the back of a pickup truck or are towed by one. After seeing a Japanese artist’s design for a pedal-powered camper, the Dangie Bros. decided they needed one too. The tiny camper sleeps two in very cramped quarters and weighs about 500 pounds, but they still managed to take it on a (short) road trip.

Bruder’s rugged camper is designed for overlanding on the most challenging terrain. It rolls on 37″ wheels, and its suspension offers 12″ of travel, while its lightweight body handles temperatures from -22ºF to +140ºF. Its climate-controlled cabin operates off-grid thanks to battery packs and roof-mounted solar panels.

Earth Traveler’s carbon fiber, Kevlar, and Corecell trailer weighs just 250 lb. Its aerodynamic shape and light weight mean it can even be pulled by small cars without a major impact on fuel economy. In camping mode, it pops up and out, providing accommodations for four. They also make a 400 lb. fiberglass trailer.

This teardrop camper provides a cozy living space in temperatures as low as -5.8°F thanks to its thick insulation and optional electric or diesel heaters. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, a sleeping area with a memory foam mattress, LED lighting, and more. Its Sky Mount roof rack can carry luggage or a pop-up tent.

Overland in comfort and ease thanks to this fully-prepped camper from Colorado’s Supertramp. The 1200 lb. module sits in the bed of your pickup and uses electric actuators to open in 10 seconds. The unit adds a kitchenette with a sink, stove and fridge, a queen-size sleep area, a hidden toilet, and an optional indoor shower.

Builder Steve Jones got his hands on the jet engine nacelle from an old Royal Air Force VC10 airplane, and has since transformed the circular housing into a truly unique camper. French company Beauer designed these curvy campers which can collapse down to the width of a lane for towing, but expand to provide a comfortable living space. Sizes of the 2X and 3X campers range from 86 square feet to 129 square feet when opened. They also make an oblong 3X+ model with an impressive 301 square feet.
