A night vision camera for iOS and Android devices. It doesn’t need your device’s camera; instead it wirelessly streams video to your device through an app, from which you can capture still images or record live video.

CBS spoke with GoPro Founder and CEO Nick Woodman, who became a billionaire by selling cameras at a time when most other cameras are losing market share to smartphones, thanks to GoPro’s quality, durability and versatility.

The Nikon Df is a DSLR with a beautiful retro SLR case and mechanical controls. It has a 16.2mp full-frame, a 3.2″ LCD screen and microUSB, HDMI and accessory ports. It’s compatible with AF-S, AF-D and AF lenses.

The α7 and α7R mirrorless cameras pack a full-frame image sensor in a lightweight body and a sensible price. The A7 has a 24mp sensor, while the α7R has a 36.3mp sensor. They work with E-mount and full-frame lenses.

A one-off of the Leica M designed by Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newsom. It has an aluminum body, a 35mm CMOS sensor and a 50mm f/2 lens. It will be auctioned off on 11/23/13 to raise funds for (RED) and its fight against AIDS, Malaria and TB.

The GoPro Hero3+ Black Edition is 20% smaller and lighter and has a 30% longer battery life than its predecessor. Its improved lens leads to 33% sharper images. It also has a new wide-angle video mode and an auto low-light mode.

The Rideye is a blackbox for your bike. It houses a camera that continuously records up to 2.5 hours of wide-angle HD video, and automatically saves videos if it detects a crash. Also has one-touch manual save and one-month battery life.

Essentially a rugged version of the Nikon 1 J3, the AW1 is the world’s first waterproof (up to 49ft.) and shockproof (6.6ft) interchangeable lens camera. The sturdy point-and-shoot also has GPS, an altimeter, a depth gauge and Wi-Fi.

A tiny camera that can record 720p video and take photos. It also has various mounts, such as a magnet mount and a car mount. It works on its own, but you can also use a mobile device as a viewfinder and to view photos and videos.

The QX cameras are zoom lens cameras that don’t have a viewfinder. They work on their own, but they really shine when you connect a smartphone using Wi-Fi and NFC to pair up. The QX100 is basically an RX100 MKII.

The Alpha α3000 is a MILC with entry-level DSLR features. It has a lightweight body with an ergonomic grip, a 20.1mp APS-C sensor, RAW format ability, and a low light adjustment of up to ISO 16000. Includes an 18-55mm lens.

The NEX-5T is all about convenience. Pair it with an NFC-enabled mobile device to transfer images or control the camera with just one tap. It also has a speedy autofocus and a touchscreen that tilts up to 180º, making self-shots easier.

The DMC-FZ70 is the first compact camera with a built-in 60x optical zoom lens. It has a 16.1mp MOS sensor and a microphone that reduces ambient noise and detects when you zoom in to enhance the sound from your subject.

The Lumia 1020 has a 41-megapixel camera sensor and a Xenon flash. Its version of Windows Phone 8 comes with a special camera app that lets you adjust focus, shutter speed, white balance and more. Demo here.

This aluminum iPhone case has a substantial camera-like grip, while adding a rotating set of lenses for fish eye, wide angle, telephoto and macro shots. Also adds a tripod mount. Choose from silver, red, purple, blue, or black.

Invented by Steve Hollinger, the Squito is a ball-shaped throwable camera. It takes 360º panoramic videos or pictures and has built-in image stitching and stabilization. The Darkball variant uses infrared and thermal imaging.

The EOS 70D has a 20.2 CMOS APS-C-sized sensor, DIGIC 5+ image processor, 3″ LCD and a new autofocus technology that should appeal to amateur filmmakers. It also has a mobile app that can be used to shoot and manage photos.

The most compact and affordable member of Fujifilm’s mirrorless cameras. The X-M1 has the same 16.3mp CMOS sensor as the X-Pro 1 and X-E1. It also has a 3″ tiltable LCD and the ability to transfer images wirelessly.

The creator of the GIFTY concept camera says it would allow you to shoot and print real life GIFs but it actually seems more like a fun way of making photo flipbooks in a GIFFY. We totally understand if you don’t appreciate that pun.
