Airplanes are usually meant to fly. This one never leaves the ground again because it’s been converted into a limousine. Martín Vaca and VA-K Innovation took the decommissioned Boeing 727 and mounted it atop a bus chassis. The wings had to be removed, and the fuselage reduced in size to make it street-legal. Here’s what it looks like inside.

We’ve seen the airport at Antarctica’s Troll Research Station. Now Extreme Aviation Iceland gives us a first-person view from the cockpit as an Icelandair Boeing 767 comes in for a landing and faces the frigid conditions at one of the world’s Southernmost air strips. Stick around to the end to see them take back off.

These coffee tables are each made from a wheel of a Boeing 737 or 747 airliner. The wheel is mounted on a base that lets it spin on its original bearings. Touch of Modern is offering big discounts on this upcycled furniture.

RCScaleAirplanes shot this video of an imposing 18ft.-long (1:13 scale) Boeing 747-400 model plane. Model Airplane News says builder Adi Pitz spent over 2,000 hours making it. Its jet engines sound as amazing as they perform.

Boeing’s Custom Hangar limited editions store offers sculptures, furniture and other decorative items made of old airplane parts, including ones from the 747, 727, DC9, P-51 Mustang, F-4 Phantom and B-29 Superfortress.

Fancy Casey Putsch’s helicopter engine-powered Batmobile? Good news: Casey has put it up for sale to fund other projects. We’d rather have the Tumblers. Also we don’t have that kind of money.

Casey Putsch of Putsch Racing has assembled a turbine-powered Batmobile, with a 385 hp Boeing turboshaft engine from a naval drone helicopter and a Dodge Viper-like power/weight ratio.

This mechanical chimera is a 1982 Porsche 928 fitted with a Boeing T-50 jet engine. Surprisingly, it’s specs are not off the roof – 365hp with a top speed of 160mph. And it runs on diesel.

The 36 foot-long unmanned aircraft could be used for reconnaissance and to deliver weaponry without putting soldiers in harms way. Boeing expects the prototype to take of as early as this summer.
