Wrapped in iconic BMW livery, this race car concept honors the 1975 BMW 3.0 CSL. Its high tech interior, safety suit and helmet offer integration to keep racers focused on the road, while carbon-fiber construction keeps it light.

The latest custom job of Portuguese bike shop Ton-Up Garage. Based on a BMW R80 RT, the Indira has been lowered, shortened and given a new paint job and lots of custom parts to draw attention to the motorcycle’s lines.

AC Schnitzer’s take on BMW’s plug-in hybrid sports car has a carbon fiber rear wing and is lowered to improve aerodynamics. It also has carbon fiber front spoilers and side skirts and light 21″ forged alloy wheels.

BMW teamed up with two of Japan’s best bike shops to customize the new K 1600 GTL luxury tourer. Kenji Nagai’s Ken’s Factory Special is a clean and curvy chopper, while Keiji Kawakita’s Juggernaut is a futuristic combat sport bike.

Alpina celebrates 50 years of tuning BMW cars with souped up editions of the Series 5 and Series 6. The B5 Edition 50 and B6 Edition 50 both have a twin turbocharged 4.4L V8 that produces up to 600hp and 590lb.ft. of torque.

The BMW 1 Series gets a sportier look and more efficient engines, from the 116hp 3-cylinder in the 116d to the 326hp 6-cylinder in the M135i. The automatic models can manage the transmission based on navigation data.

The 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M are powered by a new twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8 engine that cranks out up to 575hp and 553 lb-ft. of torque. The AWD SUVs also have an 8-speed gearbox and fully-variable drive distribution.

ER Motorcycles’ one-off is a muted futuristic take on the BMW R69S, achieved by incorporating parts from the BMW R80T and R60/5 alongside custom-fabricated parts and neat touches like the Motoscope Pro speedometer. More here.

The 2015 2 Series Convertible bears BMW’s trademark boat deck look. Its soft-top opens and closes in 20s, even while driving at up to 30mph. The rear-wheel drive roadster has turbocharged four– or six-cylinder engine variants.

BMW may be late to the flash mob fad, but they make up for it in execution. The carmaker had five Hollywood stunt drivers conjure a cacophony of squeals and screeches all over a roundabout in South Africa using the nimble M235i.

The Vision Future Luxury concept is dominated by carbon fiber, leather and wood. It also has a wide digital dashboard, a heads-up display, individual rear seats and a detachable tablet computer to control the rear displays.

Like its big brother, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé offers a sporty ride with the space you need for everyday needs, with more headroom for passengers and more trunk space compared to the two-door 4 Series Coupe.

To show off its autonomous driving technology, BMW took The Verge for a ride in a 2 Series that not only drove itself but drifted in both dry and wet tracks as well. BMW estimates that they will have fully automated cars by 2020.

The successor to the 1 Series, the 2 Series Coupe is designed for sporty driving and efficiency, thanks to its responsive handling and 8-speed transmission. The 228i has a 2.2L 220hp engine, while the M235i has a 3L 322 engine.

The production version of the Concept Ninety, the R nineT is a throwback to BMW Motorrad’s cafe racer roots. It has a 110hp 1170cc 2-cyl. boxer engine and lots of customizable parts, such as the rear frame, tailpipes and telefork.

The the 4 Series hard-top cabriolet has a slightly longer wheelbase, wider body, and lower center of gravity than the 3 Series, making it look more elegant and aggressive than its smaller brethren. P.S. Is “sportivity” a word?

The futuristic BMW i8 moves from concept to production for 2015. This carbon fiber plug-in hybrid weighs just 3285 lbs., and is powered by a 231hp turbo three, and a 96kw electric motor, for a total 362hp. Base price is a spendy $136K.

The 2014 BMW M4 Concept Coupé has carbon fiber-reinforced plastic parts, including the roof, front splitter and rear diffuser. Its huge air intakes cool its yet to be specified engine. Official reveal video here.

The BMW i3 has a 22kW battery powering a 170hp electric motor. Its top speed is 93mph and it goes as far as 80-100mi per charge. The battery can be recharged within 3 hours. Available in the US in 2014 for $41,350.
