Awesome Blondie

Blondie co-founder and lead vocalist Debbie Harry has been the subject of interviews for 40+ years. As a woman leading a rock band, she’s been subjected to all manner of stupid questions. Meghan Fredrich’s brilliant short film documents some of Debbie’s better ways of handling such off-putting interviews.

Musician Stev Aleksic presents a very special cover version of Blondie’s 1978 hit One Way or Another, with vocals performed by a digitally-doctored cat. If it sounds stupid, it is… but it’s still Internet gold.

We’re rooting for Puddles to take the win on America’s Got Talent, but he’s got some stiff competition. Regardless of the outcome, we’ll always have his YouTube channel. Here, he picks up his guitar and turns in a dialed-down arrangement of Blondie’s 1979 hit Dreaming.

We always thought the Muse track Uprising sounded like the Doctor Who theme song, but this track by CjR MIX proves that it also melds perfectly with Blondie’s 1980 classic Call Me. Download the track here.
