Awesome Battlebots

You might remember Rock ’em Sock ’em Robots from when you were a kid. For his Maker’s Secret Santa gift this year, engineer James Bruton made a pair of robots that do battle with their fists. Somebody already knocked their blocks off, though. Stick around to the end to see the fun gift James scored.

BattleBots recently featured a showdown between front-spinner bot Hypershock and orbital spinner Warrior Clan. The highlight of the match was the last minute addition of a garden rake which Hypershock used to swat Warrior Clan’s companion drone from the sky.

One of the more spectacular BattleBots fights of the season so far – as the formerly dinosaur headed, spiraling death machine that is Warhead took on the firebreathing Complete Control with some unusual maneuvers and a truly explosive finishing move.
