Yamaha has developed an industrial robot that is capable of riding a motorcycle. While we wait for the robot MotoGP races some day, Motoman is helping to make bikes safer and more comfortable for humans. For now, he has training wheels, but they’ll come off soon.

Makeup artist Kandee Johnson shows off a look in which she transforms herself into a comic book character that’s half man and half woman. The freaky contact lenses help finish the look, but it’s Kandee’s talent that brings it all together. If you don’t believe us, watch this.

Filmmaker WhoIsPablo has outdone himself with his latest video, which breathes life into the posters from popular motion pictures by replacing the still images with the actual moving images from the films which served as their inspiration.

Ali Baba Lights creates custom rooms from blocks of natural Himalayan salt, lit with LEDs to produce stunning and relaxing environments, that are said to produce negative ions to improve air quality. They also sell smaller lights which are much more affordable.

Display technology company Barco demonstrates its a rear-projection video wall, which uses lasers and custom sensors to allow it to detect an unlimited number of touchpoints, and lets users view and interact with content in an expansive virtual desktop.

Aircraft maker Boeing shows off Microlattice, an incredibly lightweight, but resiliant metal structure that’s formed from 99.99% air. It’s hoped that this technology may someday translate to a reduction in weight for airplanes and other vehicles.

Primitive Technology shows us how he created a complete, heated shelter using nothing more than rudimentary handmade tools, trees, strips of cane and mud. He even made his own roof tiles from clay, using a kiln he made with similar techniques. The total build took him 102 days.

LEGO builder ElectryDragonite made this desktop vending machine using LEGO bricks, Mindstorms NXT controllers, and servo motors to dispense one of four different drink flavors, and has a working coin mechanism that rejects bad coins. It even keeps drinks cool.

Watch in awe as this CNC cutting machine transforms hunks of solid titanium and aluminum into an intricate electric guitar. The 124 piece guitar looks identical to the real deal, though at 15 pounds, it’s about twice the weight of a Fender Stratocaster.
