Awesome Aunty Donna

(PG-13: Language) We’ve seen some mighty impressive cakes that look like other things. In this hilarious sketch from Australia’s always-warped Aunty Donna, we learn what happens when the gang takes their cake fakery too far. Memo to self: if visiting their Coffee Café, always bring an Epi-Pen.

(PG-13: Language) Anyone who has had dealings in the real estate industry knows that there are a fair share of A-holes and D-bags in the business. Aunty Donna’s hilariously profane sketch is reserved especially for those real estate agents who have risen to the level of the C-word.

(PG-13: Language) In this silly sketch from Aunty Donna’s Netflix series Big Ol’ House of Fun, housemate Mark decides to take in a stray he found wandering around outside. But it’s not a dog or a cat, this is a full-grown man. Fortunately, Antony Starr is a bit more docile here than as Homelander on The Boys.

(PG-13: Language) Beloved Aussie comedy group Aunty Donna has scored themselves a Netflix series. Titled Aunty Donna’s Big Ol’ House of Fun, expect the show to offer the trio’s trademark absurdist sketch comedy, along with cameos from stars like Ed Helms, Kristen Schaal, Paul F. Tomkins, and “Weird” Al Yankovic. Drops 11.11.2020.

We wish that people used the word “chuffed” more here in America. But in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, it’s a popular term for being excited about something. So with the language lesson over with, enjoy as Aunty Donna sings about some things that get dads really chuffed.

(PG-13: Language) Sometimes it’s nice to take home a little bit of leftover cake from a party so you can enjoy it the next day. But this ridiculous comedy sketch from Aunty Donna’s “Haven’t You Done Well” proves the old adage that there can be too much of a good thing.

A teacher kicks off school every day with a brief classroom attendance check. But as can be expected from any Aunty Donna sketch, the room isn’t filled with what we’d call “normal” school kids. It really just makes us wonder exactly what class this guy is teaching.

“You nasty nacho, you breakfast cereal, you couple of kids taped together and thrown at an old woman!” Aunty Donna kicks off a new series of non-instructional videos. As with most of their skits, this is all an excuse for ad libbing and bromancing.

It’s Chrissy time in the Land of Oz, so save a prawn for me! The guys from Aunty Donna sing us a little holiday tune that teaches us some of the many differences in the way that Christmas is celebrated in the Southern hemisphere compared to here in the U.S.
