Awesome Aquaman

Aquaman & the Lost Kingdom reminds us that Aquaman knows a thing or two about water. So does actor-surfer Jason Momoa, who’s passionate about protecting our oceans on screen and off. He’s put his considerable muscle behind Mananalu Water, a sustainable, resealable aluminum-bottle H2O brand determined to eliminate single-use plastics.

The Hacksmith continues to build out his collection of superhero-inspired gadgets with a version of Aquaman’s trident that blasts streams of water from its three tips. He starts out with a small prototype, then scales up to a much more powerful full-size version. We’d like to see this connected to a larger water tank.

Mix Black Panther, a ton of marine life and a sprinkling of Magic Mike and you get the new Aquaman. Screen Junkies pokes fun at the hit movie’s celebration of excess – excessive locations, excessive battles, excessive screaming and more more more.

(SPOILERS) How It Should Have Ended plugs up the Aquaman movie’s loopholes and points out the problem of having an origin story after the hero has already joined a super team. Because Superman is the answer to everything.

Hot Toys’ latest Movie Masterpiece sixth-scale action figure features Jason Momoa as Aquaman, based on the character’s gold and green suit in his new movie. It features a great new head sculpt, a trident and six interchangeable hands.

Warner Bros. Pictures shares this extended video of Aquaman’s solo film. It shows much of the movie’s plot, but we’re still intrigued and hopeful. Jason Momoa adds his own spin to the role and is at once funny and imposing. The movie premieres 12/21/18.

Still reeling from the loss of Superman, the world finds itself invaded by an otherworldly army that brings death, destruction, black and orange. DC Comics and Warner Bros. show that Ragnarok isn’t exclusive to Marvel in the latest trailer for Justice League.

Wonder Woman leads the charge, the Flash is too young for this sh*t and Aquaman does the Bryce Harper move in our latest look at Zack Snyder’s Justice League. We’re not sure why they still look up to Superman after Dawn of Justice though.

Man at Arms: Reforged makes a life-size replica of what they think Jason Momoa’s Aquaman will wield in the upcoming Justice League movie. It may look like a prototype, but it still took a ton of work to create.
