A beautiful and mostly lighthearted two-part anime featuring Gravity Rush heroines Kat and Raven. Overture takes place between Gravity Rush and its upcoming sequel. If you’re not familiar with the series, all you need to know is that Kat and Raven can manipulate gravity.

Director Vitaliy Shushko and a team of talented 3D modelers, compositors, and animators created this stunning short film set in a dystopian future. It favors style and action over plot, but that doesn’t make this futuristic and mysterious anime any less fantastic.

Whether or not you agree with the casting of Scar-Jo in the role of Major Motoko Kusanagi, this trailer has us pretty excited about where the live action version of Masamune Shirow’s classic anime looks to be headed, with incredible visuals and thrilling action.

(SPOILERS) Anime critic Mother’s Basement breaks down the fight between the Sea King and the heroes in One Punch Man. The story arc provides lots of humor, action and drama, and outlines the responsibilities of a hero: a weapon, a leader, and a symbol of hope.
