Awesome Amsterdam

Amsterdam’s Our House is a wonderland for fans of electronic music. One of their interactive installations is a wall-sized sequencer, which lets you create your own looped rhythms by pushing its buttons. Here’s a look at it being programmed to play the Eurythmics 1983 hit Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).

Photographer Joerg Daiber takes us on a vibrant visual tour of The Netherlands’ capital city. Using tilt-shift and time-lapse techniques, the enlightened Dutch city’s historic canals, charming neighborhoods, and countless bicycles appear even more magical than they do in real life.

We’ve been to lots of places, but have yet to make it to The Netherlands. For now, we can at least enjoy it from afar thanks to this 4K time-lapse video captured from the mast of a sailboat as it was towed from Rotterdam to Amsterdam. We enjoyed watching all of the bridges open up to allow the ships through.

Workers can take advantage of these mobile workspaces outside of Amsterdam, which use converted old trailers to create impromptu offices in the Dutch countryside, complete with Wi-Fi, coffee makers and compost toilets.
