Awesome Airplane

Fans of the Zucker and Abrahams classic Airplane! will immediately recognize this image as the iconic twisted jumbo jet from the movie’s poster. Midnight Dogs brings it to life as an awesome enamel pin that’s perfect for frequent flyers. Just don’t stick one on Otto.

While waiting to fly from Brisbane to Sydney, the Australian touring cast of The Lion King decided to serenade other passengers on their airplane. This is so much better than when the flight attendants on Southwest try to sing.

From Jeff “Speedycop” Block and The Gang of Outlaws, comes the unholy offspring of a 1956 Cessna 310 airplane and a Toyota minivan. All told, it only cost $2600 to build. Watch it drag race here. Just don’t expect it to fly.

This tiny indoor flyer weighs just 3 grams, but is nearly indestructible thanks to its carbon fiber frame and propellor. It’s not cheap, but it sure looks impressive in its aluminum carrying case. Flies for about 10 minutes per charge.
