While the trailer basically tells us nothing, the plot synopsis for this gritty action film definitely piques our interest. Joe Manganiello stars as Max Fist, a man who insists he’s a hero who fell through time and space and landed on Earth, where his superpowers don’t work. From fan-owned movie company Legion M.

Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Dominique Fishback star in this Netflix action movie about an addictive and dangerous new pill that turns up on the streets of New Orleans and is capable of bestowing those who take it with a random superpower – for five minutes at a time. Drops 8.14.20.

(PG-13: Language, Gore) After the horrifying events of season one, Billy Butcher, Hughie and their gang are on the run from Vought’s so-called superheroes, while a new member of the team, Stormfront, could shake things up even for the lead megalomaniac Homelander. Premieres 9.4.2020 on Amazon Prime Video.

Originally planned for an early 2020 release, Matthew Vaughn’s origin story for Kingsman is now set to drop 9.18.20. It delves into the earliest days of the secret intelligence organization, as they emerge to root out corruption, crime, and terror during World War I, including a run-in with the infamous Grigori Rasputin.

This short film from motorcycle culture and lifestyle magazine META uses audio and composition to evoke images of astronauts being launched into space, but instead of orbiting Earth in a rocketship, athletes Austin Hackett-Klaube and Harrison Ory take to the skies on their dirt bikes against a harsh desert backdrop.

Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs star in the TNT series Snowpiercer, a post-apocalyptic thriller based on the film by Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho (Parasite). Set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, the politics of survival play out on a perpetually moving train circling the globe. Debuts 5.17.20.

(PG-13: Language) Chris Hemsworth stars in this Netflix film about a mercenary who’s called on to rescue the kidnapped son of a notorious drug lord. The plot sounds pretty trite, but with Avengers’ stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave directing, and the Russo Brothers producing, it’s sure to have thrilling action sequences. Drops 4/24/20.

Tom Hanks stars in this WWII action drama about a first-time destroyer commander who must face terrible odds to help a convoy of dozens of allied ships survive attacks by deadly packs of Nazi U-boats. Based on a true story.

(PG-13: Language) Daniel Radcliffe stars in this insane looking action flick about an internet troll who finds himself pulled into a real-world, live-streamed death match after thugs turn up at his door and bolt a pair of guns to his hands. Of course, his first opponent is the biggest badass of the whole game.

Action filmmaker Devin Supertramp and his crew headed to the historic streets of Uzbekistan to play out a chase sequence inspired by Disney’s Aladdin. Parkour athlete Calen Chan plays our protagonist as he bounces off walls, tears through alleyways, and bounces off rooftops to avoid the baddies. POV footage here.

With Cary Joji Fukunaga (True Detective Season 1) directing, and writing by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve), we’re excited for Daniel Craig’s final appearance as James Bond. The action-packed trailer looks to amp things up more than ever for 007, as he comes out of retirement to hunt down a new evil guy packing dangerous tech.

After hitting it big with Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney is repackaging another of its theme park attractions as a movie. Emily Blunt stars as a woman on a mission to find a rare Amazon plant with healing powers, and Dwayne Johnson is her guide on an adventure that’s sure to be filled with thrills and a few bad jokes.

With Linda Hamilton back on screen, James Cameron involved in the story, and Tim Miller of Deadpool fame behind the camera, we’re actually kind of excited for the new Terminator flick. The latest trailer showcases more of Sarah Conner’s story, and what transpired after the events of T2. Drops 11/1/19.

Spencer Frost’s short film is a love letter to the ocean and to nightime, as six surfers explain why they seek the waves off the East coast of Australia in the darkness rather than in the light of day. Best watched in a dark room with headphones on.

In filmmaker Brandon Semenuk and Rupert Walker’s short action film, mountain bike riders Semenuk and Ryan “R-Dog” Howard pair up in close proximity to show off their skills and daring, while being pursued by an expertly-flown drone. Enjoy another 100 seconds of Semenuk goodness here.

Director Ruben Fleischer returns to the world of the undead along with Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone as their dysfunctional post-apocalyptic family faces off against new kinds of zombies on a road trip from the East Coast to America’s heartland.

While we’re not sure the trailer for this upcoming co-op action RPG really explains the story at all, it does show off some insanely-great and creepy looking monsters you’ll be facing should you decide to buy this upcoming title when hits PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on 8/20/19.

The first gameplay trailer for the action adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order shows the friends and foes you’ll meet as Jedi-in-training Cal Kestis. A lengthy gameplay video showcases Cal’s combat abilities and Force powers. The game drops 11/15/19.

Blasphemous is an upcoming side-scrolling action platformer that promises epic boss battles, grisly yet gorgeous pixel art, non-linear levels, and a highly customizable character. It will be released for Windows, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.

(Gore) Sylvester Stallone writes and stars as John Rambo yet again in the fifth installment of the action series. While the teaser makes it look like an extreme version of Home Alone, Rambo: Last Blood apparently sees our hero journeying to Mexico to rescue a friend’s daughter.

Team Ninja’s sequel to its brilliant action RPG Nioh seems to be shaping up quite nicely. In Nioh 2, you get to create your own character, and transform into several demonic forms. It also has a cooperative multiplayer mode.

Set after 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Dark Fate sees Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger reprise their roles as Sarah Connor and the T-800. Along with a soldier from the future, they try to protect a hybrid Terminator from a new T-1000. Directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and premieres 11/1/19.
