The women of Thalia Strings tear up the place with an effervescent cover version of AC/DC’s 1990 rock classic Thunderstruck, arranged for acoustic strings by Amy Cave. Prefer Aerosmith to AC/DC? They’ve got you covered.

NHK Blends presents a wonderfully mellowed-out version of AC/DC’s 1980 rock classic Back in Black, performed on traditional Japanese instruments, including the shime-daiko, shakuhachi, and koto with a few owl calls thrown in for good measure.

“In an alternate universe, this is what could have been.” If you were expecting to be Rickrolled when you click play on this clip, you’d be wrong. Though there is something just so wrong it’s right about the soulful pop singer doing a cover of the AC/DC classic Highway to Hell.

A decidedly lo-fi version of AC/DC’s classic Back in Black, performed by French group The Wackids, three musicians known for playing their concerts entirely on kid’s toys and other cheap musical instruments. Here they are playing some Joan Jett and Metallica.

Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser yet again prove that cellos aren’t just for classical music, with this performance of AC/DC’s 1979 classic. They’re more like 2CELLOSANDADRUMKIT this time out, with Dusan Kranjc banging away in the rhythm section.

Guitarist Luca Stricagnoli turns in an impeccable fingerstyle acoustic performance of AC/DC’s 1990 hit Thunderstruck. Be sure to check out his rendition of Dick Dale’s surf rock tune Misirlou, and his Guns N’ Roses ain’t too shabby either.

The moment that you hear the first twang from the banjoist of Finnish bluegrass group Steve ‘N’ Seagulls as he furiously plucks out the familiar opening riff of the standard in AC/DC you know you’re about to be Thunderstruck.
