These days, there’s not a ton of need to print things, but sometimes it’s still nice to have a hardcopy. The compact Rolto printer wirelessly connects to your iPhone and can print perfectly proportioned screengrabs in black and white. Great for recipes and to-do lists.

Trikala, Greece is testing driverless public transit vehicles being developed by the EU’s CityMobil2 group. The 10-passenger bus is essentially a road train. It doesn’t change lanes and follows a closed route, but it can be remote controlled if needed.

Most 3D printers use stepper motors to move their print head and platform. There’s an interesting side effect to this setup – you can use it to play music. Barnacules Nerdgasm demonstrates. Turns out the sounds can also be used to reverse engineer 3D models.

The G900 Chaos Spectrum is a impressively fast wireless mouse that uses the PMW3366 sensor, the same one that’s in the beloved G502 and other high-end gaming mice. It also has four removable side buttons and a USB cable for wired use and recharging.

“What’s realer than real? Probably nothing.” Google unveils the evolution of its affordable virtual reality headset. Cardboard Plastic lets you tap into reality itself, thanks to the magic of holes. Oh, how we wish that Apple did this joke instead.

Tesla’s most affordable car yet goes from 0 to 60mph in under 6s and lasts at least 215mi per charge. It has Autopilot and Supercharger as standard, as well as a single pane glass roof and a 15″ touchscreen control panel. Drops 2017 for $35K ($27.5K after credits).

Despite its tacky name, the Seagate Innov8 does represent a leap forward in external hard drive technology. The 8TB drive uses just a single USB-C cable for both data transfer and power. It measures 8″x 5″x 1″ and weighs 0.33lb. Drops 4/2016 for $350.

Sony ups its compact superzoom game with the new RX10 III. It has the same 1″ 20MP sensor as the Mk. II, but its lens now maxes out at an insane 600mm. It also has 4K video, Wi-Fi and NFC, optical image stabilization and up to 960fps slow mo. Still no touchscreen though.
