3D-printed plastic objects don’t get very shiny. HEN3DRIK shows us how he electroplated a 3D model of Iron Man’s helmet to make it look like the ones in the movies. The process involves preparing the plastic and applying conductive copper paint before electroplating it with copper, gold, and palladium. The red was added using transparent red acrylic paint.

Iron Man had armor that was able to fix itself after a fight. JLaservideo took a stab at making real-world armor pieces that heal themselves after being heated, thanks to Nitinol – a nickel-titanium alloy with the ability to return to a programmed shape after being bent. The material is expensive and hard to work with, but Tony Stark could afford it.

Hot Toys made a life-size and movie-accurate replica of the Nano Gauntlet that Iron Man used in Avengers: Endgame. It features red and gold metallic painting and two lighting modes: steady and pulsing. Sadly, it’s not wearable.

Hot Toys has released its sixth-scale action figure of Tony Stark’s sleek Mk. 85 armored suit in Avengers: Endgame. It has 30 points of articulation, its color scheme calls back to his original crimson and gold armor, and will come with movie-accurate accessories.

The Nendoroid Iron Man Mk. 50 action figure is based on Tony Stark’s nanotech suit from Avengers: Infinity War. It comes with a ton of accessories, including wing parts and a reactor effect part. It also has an alternate unmasked head.

Revoltech’s latest action figure in its dynamic and ultra-poseable Amazing Yamaguchi line features Iron Man in his Bleeding Edge armor. The 6.7″-tall figure has 37 points of articulation and comes with a ton of accessories, including flaps, Repulsor rays and missiles.
